Magawish is a quiet village in Hurghada, favoured by expatriates, located directly opposite the beautiful Red Sea.  It is situated on Airport Road and is approximately 8 minutes drive to the airport.

Land in Magawish over the last 3/4 years has risen dramatically, and many people have bought land here to build their own perfect villa or apartment by the sea.

Land tends to be bought by individuals wishing to build their own individual style of property, or small developers wishing to develop a small number of properties on separate/adjoining plots of land, with a view to rental income or sale.

At present there is a small supermarket in operation, an American School – 'Creative Minds', and an American nursery – 'Happy Days'.  A pharmacy and doctors are under construction and will open soon.  Investors wishing to set up a business here, at the moment, can find many opportunities, as Magawish is a developing residential area.

Why do people live in Magawish?

It benefits from being a 10 minute drive from Senzo Mall, which boasts to be the largest shopping mall in the Red Sea. Senzo Mall has a large hypermarket – Spinneys (weekly food shopping),  a cinema, a childrens play area, international restaurants,  coffee shops, designer shops – including Addidas, Radioshack, Reebok etc.

It is locatated at the top end of the 'Golden Mile', which is an extensive pedestrian promenade 'Village Road'.  It is 5 minutes by car from Magawish or a leisurely 20 minute walk.

In addition to this, the area between Magawish and Senzo Mall is a select area, filled with 5 star hotels,  approximately 5minutes drive away.   There is also a large water park – Titanic Beach Spa & Water Park.

Between Magawish and the Golden Mile, is public beach No. 7 – Santa MariaBeach.  In this area, you can enjoy windsurfing and kite surfing.
