Cairo
Cairo is the administrative centre of Egypt. To the north east of Cairo, you will find the Governate of Giza. To the west of Cairo, you will find the Governate of Suez and to the south the Governorates of Qalyubia and Sharqiya.
In Cairo, you can find government agencies, offices of major national and international companies and organizations. These include the headquarters of the League of Arab States, the regional office of the World Health Organization as well as various banking institutions. There are also several industrial zones: Misr al-Gedida, El-Wylie, Medinat Nasr, etc.
The total population of Cairo according to some estimates might be as much as 30 million people.
