South Sinai

The South Sinai region is also known as 'Ganub Sina'.  Its  administrative centre is the city of Al-Tur.

The Governorate of South Sinai is located in the north east of Egypt, in the southern Sinai Peninsula.  It is south of the Governorate of North Sinai.  

From the south eastern side, it is washed by the Gulf of Aqaba and from the south west - the Gulf of Suez.
