El Hadaba
Hadaba is a residential area, located in the heart of Hurghada, close to the coast. The area is noted for its beautiful sandy beaches and turquoise clear waters. It is well known for hosting an incredible variety of hotels, cafes, discos, souvenir shops and property for short and long term guests.
Hadab, translated from the Arabic language means: hill, highland, plateau. The area overlooks the city, and offers a beautiful, panoramic view of Hurghada and the sea coast.
The most famous hotels in the area of the city are: Sea Gull, Aquafun, Le Pasha, Regina, Bella Vista and Roma. The most commonly used names for the district are; El Hadab, Hadab, Hadoba and El Hadaba.
Hadaba, up until about 3 decades ago, was considered a suburb, backwater without roads and infrastructure. However, with the arrival of the construction boom in 2005, the area has changed amazingly. Now there are new modern houses, apartment complexes, modern villas, etc. However, along with all the new property, there are still some houses that belong to some famous Egyptians (singers, artists and businessman. These villas have fine sounding names, like: Villa Arafat, Villa Regina ...
Hadaba has a mix of Eastern and Western style. There are Arabic style, narrow, cozy streets and new, broad, modern streets. Hadaba is definitely cosmopolitan. Here, as anywhere in Egypt, people of various nationalities and faiths live peacefully together.
