Egypt - New industrial & logistic zones to create 25,000 job opportunities

Egypt Trade and Industry Minister Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed said Friday 21/5/2010 that the ministry has assessed four bids to the establishment of industrial and logistic zones in the 10th of Ramadan, Borg El-Arab and Sadat cities.
Investments are expected to reach LE 4.6 billion pounds, Rasheed said, adding that the new zones will create some 25,000 job opportunities.
"These projects fall within the framework of cooperation between the government, the public and private sectors to upgrade industrial zones," said Rasheed. (SIS)
