Egypt, US signs three agreements in IT outsourcing

Dr. Tarek Kamel, Egypt Communication and IT Minister is visiting the United States, to attend a large trade mission ,comprising of representatives of 12 firms, operating in the IT field.
The visit was aimed at opening new areas of co-operation between the two countries.
Moreover, Minister of Communications and Technology -Tarek Kamel, witnessed on Tuesday 22/06/2010, three agreements being signed with major IT firms in the US.
The deals were signed between Egypt's Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Invensys PLC, Stream Global Services and Sutherland Global Services.
The agreements will help create thousands of job opportunities in IT outsourcing.
Kamel arrived in the U.S on Monday 21/06/2010, and during his short stay will partake in the US-Egyptian Businessmen Forum, organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Furthermore, he is also expected to hold talks with US officials and representatives from companies, on means of promoting co-operation between the two sides in Communications and Information Technology.
