Egypt: Morocco supports Alexandria to host the Mediterranean Games

Rabat - Morocco and Egypt signed, on Thursday, a protocol to implement a partnership agreement on bilateral co-operation in the field of sports.
The protocol, signed by Moroccan Youth and Sports Minister - Moncef Belkhayat and Chairman of Egyptian Sports Council - Hassan Sakr, supports organizing a Moroccan-Egyptian Sports Fraternity Week. This is in addition to promoting exchange trips between Sports Federations' Representatives and Experts in Sports Medicine and Media.
Belkhayat said "The two parties also agreed that Morocco will support Alexandria's candidacy to host the 2017 Mediterranean Games. Egypt will back the Kingdom's candidacy to host the 2015 African Cup of Nations (CAN)". (MAP)
