Grouper, locus, Dakar - a group of fishes, distributed in the waters of the Mediterranean (7 species) and Red (19 species) of the seas, the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. Larger individuals are not edible, but have not reached 50 kg are considered an expensive delicacy. In many countries, are grown in artificial conditions.

Giant grouper (Guacu, meromorphic, measure, Lat. Epinephelus lanceolatus), sometimes called the stone bass - the largest fish of stone perch.
