Tuna (Latin: Thunnus) - genus of fish from the family skumbrievyh (Scombridae). They are perfectly adapted to their lifestyles, in the ceaseless movement. Their body is tight and torpedo. The dorsal fin is shaped like a crescent and is ideal for long and fast swimming speeds of up to 77 km / h.

Tunas are found in large shoal and overcome in search of food long distances. One of its unusual features is that the energy spent on fast movement makes their blood a few degrees warmer than the surrounding water. Food tuna are some cephalopods and small fish. Found mainly in tropical latitudes, including the Red Sea.
