Gastropods - Prosobranchia

Representatives of the Prosobranchia are partly carnivorous, prey on live animals or feed on the remains of dead marine life, and partly - herbivores. They use something like a language, consisting of a chitin tooth plate, through which they burrow shells of other mollusks, or scrape algae.

Gastropods are considered the most beautiful cowries with their unusually bright shells. The most famous sight - Cypraea pantherina, which like other shellfish, is nocturnal. Cones are also very beautiful, but better do not touch it, because individual members, such as a Conus textile, can shoot poison into the plunger, sometimes leading to death.
