Synodontidae. The name of these fish were due to the shape of the head, resembling the head reptile - they have a big mouth, armed with sharp teeth. Typically, these fish lie on the sandy or muddy bottom, completely buried in it, sticking to the surface only his eyes. If the past is floating shrimp or small fish, they suddenly leap out from his hiding place and grab it. Because of its ability to still freeze these fish are an ideal target for underwater photography.
