The biggest industrial zone in Egypt to be established in Port Said

Egypt’s Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif stressed that Egypt is keen on the development of Port Said, which is currently witnessing a major industrial boom. Nazif went on to say that the biggest industrial zone throughout Egypt will be established in East Port Said, in light of its distinguished location, Global Arab Network reports according to Egypt’s official News Portal.
The industrial zone that will be established in East Port Said will certainly lure global investments to Egypt, Nazif said.
The Premier cleared that the new housing units were set up with the help of the Egyptian construction sector. The government gave priority to the limited-income brackets in this regard and Egypt has achieved a quantum leap in the building and construction sector he added, referring to a more modern shape of buildings in the country.
The government accords special attention to education, he said, citing the inauguration of the first stage of Nile Schools in the governorate. He boasted that it is an Egyptian school that applies international
standards.
He also pointed out to the importance of sports, citing the government's keenness on setting up sports establishments in various governorates . Nazif also said that he laid the foundation stone of the new Al-Masry Club in the governorate.
The premier had began his tour by laying the foundation stone of the Port Said University which was launched this year at instructions by President Hosni Mubarak. Then Nazif laid the foundation stone of Al-Masry club's new stadium that will be set up on an area of 30 feddans.
