- 36 cm - snout is much larger than the diameter of the eye;

Biology: lives in lagoons, sheltered bays and on reefs from the sea at a distance of up to 60 m. It prefers coral reefs with clear waters, rich marine life.

Can remain motionless on the bottom, among the living coral rubble, rocks, or between soft corals and sponges.

The range of habitats: from the Red Sea to Molukskih Islands, Taiwan, United Kingdom.
