Grouper, locus, Dakar - a group of fishes, distributed in the waters of the Mediterranean (7 species) and Red (19 species) of the seas, the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. Giant grouper (Guacu, meromorphic, measure, Lat. Epinephelus lanceolatus), sometimes called the stone bass - the largest fish of stone perch.
