Essam Sharaf and Yehya El-Gamal discuss new government in Egypt

Essam Sharaf, the new prime minister, started consultations with Yehya El-Gamal, a jurist and professor of constitutional law, on Saturday regarding the formation of a new government.
Sharaf met a number of former ministers, including Minister of Education and Higher Education Ahmed Gamal Eddien Mousa, Minister of Scientific Research Amr Ezzat Salama, and Minister of Finance Samir Radwan, all of whom are nominated to hold positions in the new government.
Sharaf traveled to the cabinet headquarters on foot. In his first visit to his new office, he made phone calls to candidates for the new government.
